Casco de la Cruz Pedro Ximinez Sherry- This is an oloroso cream sherry due to the aging process that allows air to oxidize the wine its color turns from a deep gold to a deep brown and endows the aroma with rich nutty-raisiny characteristics. Because olorosos are usually aged longer they are normally of higher quality and harder to come by. Sherry is a wonderful aperitif as well as an after dinner drink. Try this wine over ice with a twist of lime.
